Also known as Siping Street, Siping is a prefecture-level city in central Songliao Plain, at the intersection of Liaoning, Jilin and Inner Mongolia.

As a vital transportation and logistics hub in Northeast China, Siping serves as the “Southern Gateway to Jilin Province” and one of the three major grain production bases in Northeast China. A multi-ethnic city inhabited by 36 ethnic groups, Siping is the birthplace of the Manchu people and home to the Manchu Folk Culture Museum.

Nicknamed “Oriental Madrid” for the famous “Four Battles of Siping” during the Liberation War, Siping is hailed as a heroic city with profound military culture. Other attractions include Nong'an National Forest Park, Qingfeng Mountain National Forest Park, and Jingyuetan National Forest Park.

With glorious revolutionary history and abundant natural beauty, Siping is an emerging destination for heritage, eco-tourism and cultural tourism.
