Mount Huangshan is located in Mount Huangshan City, Anhui Province. If you come to Mount Huangshan by train or plane, you can only reach Mount Huangshan City (known locally as "Tunxi"), then take the shuttle bus at Mount Huangshan Bus Terminal to Tangkou Town, and then transfer to the transfer center to take the scenic area bus to reach Mount Huangshan Scenic Area. Mount Huangshan is rich in tourism resources, and the most important scenic spot is naturally Mount Huangshan Scenic Area, which is the "most wonderful mountain in the world", taking the meaning of "Emperor's Mountain". Since ancient times, there has been a classic saying "Five Mountains return without looking at the mountain, and Mount Huangshan return without looking at the mountain", which has been engraved in the mind. It is strange before you know it, and only amazing after you travel. Mount Huangshan is famous for its "five wonders" of strange pines, strange rocks, sea of clouds, hot springs and winter snow. And the 82 peaks that have created the "Five Wonders" cannot be ignored, either majestic and majestic, or steep and beautiful, naturally crafted, especially the three main peaks of Tiandu Peak, Lianhua Peak, and Guangming Peak, which are the most fascinating. It is hard to describe the "beauty of Mount Huangshan Mountain", whether it is the masculine beauty of iron and steel standing high in the sun, the charming beauty looming under the clouds and fog, or the romantic beauty of flowers blooming all over the mountains in March, or even the holy beauty wrapped in silver makeup everywhere in the snowy winter. Not far from Mount Huangshan Mountain, there are scenic spots such as Jade Valley (Lover's Valley), Jiulong Waterfall, Taiping Lake, Shimen Gorge, etc. Of course, there are more than just these. Yi County, which contains the cultural heritage of Huizhou, has villages such as Hongcun, Wooden Carving Tower, Xidi, Nanping, and Guanlu. The Huizhou style architecture like ink painting makes people linger and forget to leave; If you have enough time, you can also visit Shexian County. Tangyue memorial archway, Tang model, Chengkan, Qiankou residential buildings, etc. will also make you intoxicated. Finally, Tunxi, including Cheng's Three Mansions, Huashan Mystery Cave, and Old Street. Of course, there are many good scenic spots, such as Qimen County, which are suitable for deep traveling in Mount Huangshan Mountain.

Best Travel Time

In terms of overall scenery, it is the best to visit Mount Huangshan from April to November, when all the scenic spots are open. Among them, the climate in summer and autumn is comfortable. Tourists will generally choose to come to Mount Huangshan at this time to enjoy the green mountains and green scenery, and have a broad vision. But if you pursue the unique scenery of the sea of clouds, winter and spring are the best seasons. Moreover, the winter with the least tourists (late October February of the next year) is known as "the most beautiful season of Mount Huangshan Mountain". You can enjoy rime, ice hanging, etc. At this time, the off-season ticket price is also implemented. If you don't fear the cold, you can visit, but many scenic spots will be closed in winter.

The Donghan era art treasure "Kongwang Mountain Grottoes Statues" are the earliest Buddhist grotto statues in China, 100-200 years earlier than the Dunhuang Grottoes, and protected at the national level.

The area is also steeped in history, with attractions related to Confucius' sea gazing, Emperor Qin's inspections, and famous poets and officials like Tao Yuanming, Li Bai, Su Dongpo, Shen Kuo, Li Qingzhao, Wu Cheng'en, Li Ruzhen, Wu Jingzi, Lin Zexu, Zhu Ziqing and more.

Safety considerations

When at crowded places like train stations, bus terminals, and metro stations, keep a close eye on your belongings to prevent theft. Areas with high tourist traffic like Tiananmen Square also attract scammers, so tourists should be wary of unlicensed guides demanding money upfront. Avoid handing over any cash to solicitations on the street. Use registered taxi companies like the red Beijing taxis whenever possible. Keep valuables secured and hidden, avoid carrying large amounts of cash, and be alert in public transportation hubs and tourist sites. When needing assistance, go to authorized help points like the Beijing Tourist Information booths rather than individuals roaming the streets. Beijing is a generally safe city if simple precautions are taken. Report any incidents or suspicious activities immediately to the nearest police officer. They can also provide directions and other help. Enjoy sightseeing, but remain aware of the surroundings.
