Cangshan Scenic Area: Embracing History and Natural Beauty

Cangshan Scenic Area, situated 18 kilometers north of Yuxian County, holds a rich historical legacy dating back to the Spring and Autumn period. Legend has it that this was the place where Cheng Ying, a loyal retainer, concealed Zhao Wu, the posthumous son of Zhao Dun, who fell victim to a plot by Tu'an Gu. Originally named Yushan, it later acquired the name Cangshan due to these historical events.

Nestled within the Taihang Mountains, a prominent branch of which Cangshan belongs to, the scenic area features twin peaks standing majestically, surrounded by lush greenery, creating a picturesque landscape.
