A Grade 4A attraction and one of Tianjin's Ten Scenes, Tianjin Water Park, also called "Lotus in Green Shade", is the city's largest park perfect for morning and evening strolls or dates.

With beautiful scenery, colonnades and waterside pavilions, its most distinctive feature is the vast lakes where you can boat and admire expansive lotus blossoms in summer.

On the lake's island is Wanfo Island, a Buddhist-themed tourist area to explore. The park also has amusement rides (rollercoasters, Ferris wheel) and a zoo suitable for families with kids.

Abundant flowers and trees bloom in spring, especially diverse magnolia species, making the park ideal for flower viewing.

Allow 1-3 hours to unwind. Take metro line 3 to Zhou Deng Memorial Hall Station. Or buses 35, 668, 705, 857 to Water Park East Gate Stop, or buses 588, 643, 872, 904, 2 to Willing Garden Stop, then walk over.

The park is free. Separate fees apply for rides, zoo, etc. Open daily 6am-9pm. Lose yourself in Tianjin's oasis of lakes and flowers at Water Park.
