Shaped like a crescent moon, Yuetuo Island is a natural spa and eco-resort off Tangshan’s coast - one of China’s eight most beautiful islands.

Flanked by Jinsha and Putuo Islands, it links the coastal tourism circuit from Shanhaiguan to Beidaihe, Huanghua and Caofeidian.

Finely grained beaches give way to a Dutch village with candy-colored cottages, windmills and tulip gardens. Rent bikes or battery cars to explore the unspoiled isle.

Ferries from Sanbei Pearl Wharf provide access. Roundtrip tickets with entry are 110 RMB adults, free under 1.2 meters. Open daily 8:30am-5pm, last entry 4pm. Lose yourself on Tangshan's idyllic Dutch hideaway.
