Getting There: Your Journey to the Water Town

Reaching Tongli is straightforward from Suzhou city center, offering both bus and metro options. * By Public Bus: Take Suzhou bus routes 733, 7101, or 7115 and alight at the Tongli Lake Resort (同里湖度假村) bus stop. From there, it's a short and pleasant walk of approximately 282 meters to the town's entrance. * By Metro & Shuttle: This is a highly efficient route. Take Suzhou Metro Line 4 to its terminus, Tongli Station. Exit from Exit 9, where you will find clear signage for the transfer point to the Wujiang T1 Demonstration Line shuttle bus. These shuttles depart every 20 minutes, and the scenic 10-minute ride will take you directly to the Town North Tourist Center of Tongli Ancient Town.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, here are the essential details regarding tickets and opening hours.

Ticket Information:
- Standard Ticket: 100 RMB (per adult).
- Concession Tickets (50% off): Available for full-time university students and below (with valid ID), seniors aged 60-69 (with valid ID), and minors between 1.4m-1.5m tall or aged 6-18 (with ID).
- Free Admission: Granted to children under 1.4m tall or under 6 years old, seniors aged 70 and above, disabled military personnel, families of martyrs, and retired veterans/cadres (with relevant certificates).
Opening Hours: The town is open daily from 08:00 to 17:15, with the last admission at 17:00. It is advisable to allocate a minimum of 3 hours to fully appreciate the town's ambiance, though many visitors find themselves lingering for half a day or more to soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
