Rongguofu is an ancient architectural complex built strictly based on the classic Chinese novel Dream of the Red Chamber. Spanning over 40,000 sqm with 215 rooms and 102 corridors, it authentically replicates a Ming-Qing dynasty manor.

Completed in 1986, the TV series adaptation of Dream of the Red Chamber was filmed here for nearly two months. Over 100 other shows like Flying Fox of Snowy Mountain, Dawn of an Ancient City, Oriental Merchant and Niu Zikou and Fulian Cheng have also used it as a set, earning Rongguofu the nickname "Hollywood of China".

Ningrong Street next to Rongguofu brims with shops bearing antique signs and awnings, evoking an old marketplace.

The temple fair around Rongguofu on the 15th day of the Lunar New Year is a spectacle with traditional performances and snacks.

Allow 1-3 hours to wander this Qing dynasty wonderland. Tickets are 40RMB. Open daily 8:20am-5:30pm, last entry at 5pm.
