Built during the Jin Dynasty (1115–1234) atop the ancient Guanghui Temple founded in the Tang era, this ornate nine-story pagoda is renowned as one of China's most extraordinary.

The upper half is elaborately decorated with floral motifs resembling a colossal bouquet. Architectural historian Liang Sicheng hailed this rare “treasure within the country”.

Taking under an hour to visit, the pagoda can be reached via buses 143, 192 or 164 to Guanghui Temple. Tickets are 15 RMB.

Open daily 8am-9:30pm, last entry at 5pm. No access after 5pm as climbing is prohibited in the evening. Lose yourself admiring the splendid details of this medieval Chinese marvel.
