Arrive in Xiapu, the photographic gem of Fujian Province. After hotel check-in and refreshment, we begin our visual odyssey at Xiaohao Beach for sunset photography. Located 18km from Xiapu center, this unique mudflat features ever-changing freshwater channels that carve serpentine patterns through the landscape - appearing as the mudflat's artery from distance. Bring your telephoto lens to capture both the dramatic landscape and local workers engaged in sea breeding and fish fry activities. Xiaohao remains photogenic year-round, transforming with every shift of light.
Day 2: Cultural Heritage and Golden Hour Magic

Morning takes us to Banyueli Village, renowned for preserving traditional Chinese culture and ancient She Ethnic architecture. The well-maintained ethnic houses provide exceptional cultural photography opportunities.
Afternoon brings us to Dongbi, just 2km from Xiaohao, where mountains meet sea in a spectacular panorama - considered among Xiapu's premier sunset seascape locations. Alternative option: Wayao Village to capture fishermen's nets dancing in coastal winds, creating dynamic visual patterns against the sky.
Day 3: Sunrise Spectacle and Floating Lives
Morning: Huazhu Dawn and Island Vistas
Afternoon: Sea Gypsy Communities

Early morning departure for Huazhu to capture sunrise over the "Fuyao Islands" panorama. The scattered morning light creates unpredictable colors, revealing magnificent harmony between humanity and nature. Continue to Nanwan Village in Yantian to photograph linear mudflats and intricate net fences.
Afternoon immerses us in Yantian's fishing communities. Document the vibrant fishing boats and fishermen harvesting oysters. The Lianjia boat people, often called "Sea Gypsies," have lived generations aboard simple fishing vessels, their difficult sea-bound existence creating powerful photographic narratives. Conclude at Huyu'ao for sunset photography playing with both direct and backlighting.
Day 4: Patterns and Floating Villages
Morning: Beidou Sunrise and Shajiang Patterns
Afternoon: Island Venice
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: In Xiapu
Pre-dawn departure for Beidou's sunrise seascape. Continue to Shajiang where countless bamboo poles create geometric patterns across the mudflat, complemented by the famous "S" Bay curve and bustling fishing activity.
Afternoon boat journey to Dong'an Island reveals a sea fishing village often compared to Venice. Capture the unique aquatic community life and architectural adaptations to the marine environment.
Day 5: Morning Light and Farewell
Morning: Labor and Landscape

Final early morning captures Beiqi's sunrise over the sea, with morning glow reflecting across mudflat landscapes and fishermen's labor activities. Continue to Yangjiaxi - the sea-land Shangri-la - to photograph China's northernmost ancient banyan tree group and rustic countryside scenes. Optional arranged scenes include cooking smoke and local women carrying water. Alternative: Yantian (Goose Bay) for tidal flat mangroves.
Hotel check-out and departure from Xiapu concludes our photographic journey.
Photographic Notes: Xiapu photography is heavily influenced by tidal patterns and weather conditions. The itinerary, shooting times, and sequence may be adjusted accordingly.
