  • The Cradle of a Legend The area is deeply intertwined with the myth of the Yellow Emperor (Huangdi), a revered ancestor in Chinese culture.     • Ni Weng Cave: A serene area featuring ancient rock carvings and inscriptions left by scholars and poets throughout history, nestled amidst tranquil pools and rock formations.
    • Little Red Wall (Xiao Chi Bi): A long, reddish cliff face resembling the famous Red Wall in Chibi, Hubei. A path along its midsection, known as the "Long Corridor in the Air," offers thrilling views.

While stunning year-round, Xiandu transforms in March. Vast fields of rapeseed flowers burst into bloom, painting the valleys and foothills in vibrant, sweeping strokes of gold. This dazzling sea of yellow, set against the backdrop of the iconic granite peaks, creates a truly unforgettable and photogenic spectacle.

  • Transportation: The most convenient way to get around the main sites is by using the dedicated Xiandu Scenic Area shuttle bus line, which connects key spots like the Tourist Transfer Center and Zhu Tan Shan.
  • Admission Fees:
    • Standard Ticket: Entrance ticket 90 RMB + Shuttle bus ticket 20 RMB.
    • Discounts (50% off entrance): Apply to children (1.2-1.5m), seniors (60-69 years old), minors (6-18 years old), and full-time students with valid ID.
    • Free Admission: Granted to seniors (70+), children (under 1.2m or under 6 years old), military personnel, disabled visitors, and teachers with 30-year service certificates, among others (valid ID required).
    • Additional Costs: Dinghu Peak cable car (Single 25 RMB, Round-trip 40 RMB). VR experience projects at Xuanyuan Cave are available at separate charges (20-30 RMB).
