Transportation and Access Reaching Rhododendron Mountain requires first arriving at the broader Jinggangshan Scenic Area. * External Travel to Jinggangshan: Visitors can travel to Jinggangshan via long-distance bus or train from major cities like Nanchang or Ji'an, followed by a local transfer to the scenic area's main transport hub at Ciping. * Internal Travel within Jinggangshan: Upon entering the Jinggangshan scenic area (via its main entrance ticket), the most efficient way to reach Rhododendron Mountain is by utilizing the included eco-friendly shuttle bus system. A dedicated "Dujuan Shan Zhuanxian" (Rhododendron Mountain Special Line) operates from the Ciping Main Station directly to the Rhododendron Mountain cable car station, with a travel time of roughly 30 minutes.

2. Ticketing and Costs It is important to understand the ticketing structure, as access is bundled. * Entrance Admission: Admission to the Rhododendron Mountain Scenic Area itself is included within the general entrance ticket for the Jinggangshan Scenic and Historic Interest Area. There is no separate gate ticket for the mountain. * Cable Car Fee: Access to the walkways and prime viewing areas requires a mandatory round-trip cable car ticket, as there is no pedestrian hiking path for ascent/descent.
