The Ubiquitous Gourd: Symbolism and Craft True to its name, the Gourd Ancient Town places葫芦 (hulu, gourd) culture at the very heart of its narrative. Throughout the town, this symbolism is brought to life. Key departure points include: * Route from Lao Lianshan District: Bus #6 departs from opposite the Lianshan District Library at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, and 17:00. * Route from Lao Triangle Park: Buses depart from the Dadongshan bus stop at Triangle Park at 6:10, 7:10, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 13:30, 14:30, 15:30, 16:30, and 17:30. * Route from New District Yuhuang Mall: Departures are at 7:45, 9:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, and 17:00. * By Car (Self-Drive): For travelers from Beijing, the drive is straightforward via the Jingha (Beijing-Harbin) Expressway. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours. Take the Huludao exit, and the town is easily accessible from there.

3.2. Admission, Hours, and Planning * Ticket Price: The standard admission fee is 80 RMB per person. * Opening Hours: The town is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with last entry at 4:00 PM.
