Exploring Xiangtang Water Town in Handan
Nestled along the banks of the Fuyang River, Xiangtang Water Town stretches from He Village in He Township to Donghe Village in He Township, covering a total length of 765 meters. The picturesque water town encompasses the iconic Jade Emperor Pavilion, a charming multi-tiered brick and wood structure with intricate designs. The pavilion features carved beams, painted pillars, dragon sculptures in the brickwork on the roof ridge, and mythical creature ornaments at the corners. Hanging copper bells emit a melodious sound in the breeze, adding a rich ethnic flavor. The presence of a statue of the Jade Emperor inside earned it the name "Jade Emperor Pavilion."
