The娲皇宫 is the largest and earliest ancient building in China dedicated to the worship of the ancient goddess Nuwa. It was built by Emperor Gaoyang of the Northern Qi Dynasty as a royal summer palace when he traveled between the capitals of Yecheng and Jinyang. The娲皇宫 is a national key cultural relics protection unit.

Initially, the娲皇宫 consisted of three stone rooms with a few statues of deities. Through历代renovations and additions, it has developed into a complex of buildings with 135 rooms spread over an area of 760,000 square meters, divided into two groups, one on the mountain and the other in the valley.
