Upon your arrival in Beijing, our professional guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and recover from your journey at your own pace.
Day 2: The Soul of Beijing: Imperial Grandeur and Local Life

After breakfast, we begin our exploration of Beijing's cultural heart. We'll first visit the Temple of Heaven, an architectural masterpiece where emperors once prayed for good harvests. Here, you can also observe the vibrant morning routines of local seniors practicing Tai Chi, dancing, and other social activities.
Next, we'll venture into an authentic, non-touristy Hutong neighborhood to witness genuine Beijing life. Observe residents chatting in doorways, playing chess in shaded courtyards, and experience the community atmosphere of these traditional alleyways. You'll have the opportunity to sample local street food, including Beijing's popular pancake breakfast.
Following an authentic Beijing lunch at a local restaurant, we'll visit the magnificent Forbidden City in the afternoon when crowds have diminished. Explore the world's largest and most complete imperial palace complex for over two hours, discovering legendary stories of emperors and admiring countless historical treasures displayed throughout the halls.
The evening is free for you to explore Beijing's culinary scene or nightlife, with your guide available to provide personalized recommendations.
Day 3: Great Wall Majesty and Ancient Town Charm
Jinshanling Great Wall, Gubei Water Town, Simatai Night View

After checking out from our Beijing hotel, we journey to the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall, renowned as the most magnificent and photogenic portion. Our expert guide will lead you through this spectacular landscape, highlighting unique features including barrier walls, inscribed bricks, and defensive structures.
We then travel to Gubei Water Town, a beautifully preserved ancient-style resort nestled at the foot of Simatai Great Wall. As evening falls, prepare to be mesmerized by the town's glowing ambiance and the breathtaking illuminated night view of Simatai Great Wall.
Day 4: Traditional Crafts and Departure
Handicraft Workshops and Airport Transfer

This morning, we immerse ourselves in traditional Chinese craftsmanship within Gubei Water Town. Under the guidance of local artisans, create your own kite or lantern, experiment with tie-dye techniques in a traditional workshop, or explore other handicrafts like paper-cutting, shadow puppetry, or New Year painting. These hands-on experiences offer deep cultural immersion beyond historical sites and landscapes.
After lunch, we'll drive directly to Beijing airport or railway station for your onward journey.
