Day 1: Arrival in Guangzhou
Transfer service to hotel
Meals: No meal Accommodation: In Guangzhou
Arrive in Guangzhou, you will be met at the airport & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2: Guangzhou Cultural Exploration
Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Memorial Hall, Temple of Chen Family, Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, Shamian Street
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: In Guangzhou
Today, you will take a city tour of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Memorial Hall, Temple of Chen Family, Temple of the Six Banyan Trees and Shamian Street. Pearl River Cruise is available for your optional night entertainment if you are interested (at your own expense).
Day 3: Modern Guangzhou & Transfer to Guiyang
Ersha Island, Huacheng Square, Haixinsha Island, Guangzhou Tower, Take high speed train to Guiyang
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: In Guiyang
In the morning, we will show you to see a modern Guangzhou tour by visiting Ersha Island, Huacheng Square, Haixinsha Island (exterior tour) and Guangzhou Tower (exterior tour). Free at leisure in the morning before taking high speed train for Guiyang (Duration: 5.5 hours), then be transferred to the hotel to catch up on some rest for the expedition in Guiyang.
Day 4: Guiyang to Kaili - Miao Culture Immersion
Drive to Kaili, Danzhai paper making, Qingman Short-skirt Miao Village, Wudong Village
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: In Kaili
After breakfast, you will take driving to Kaili (3.5-4 hours). En route we will stop at a Village in Danzhai County, where you could watch how the paper is made by traditional way. Then visit a short-skirt Miao Village---Qingman, where villager in traditional costumes will stop guests at the entrance of the village, singing toasting songs and offering welcome local wine. We will have at rest and have lunch at this authentic ethnic village. After lunch, continue driving to Kaili, then head to Wudong Village, renowned for its stunning rice terraces that cascade along the hillsides. Take a leisurely walk to admire the breathtaking views and learn about the ancient farming techniques still in use today. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. If you are interested in local food, you could try the famous Sour Soup Fish Hotpot (on your own expense).
Day 5: Kaili to Rongjiang - Traditional Crafts & Music
Jidao Miao Village, Matang Village, Dazhai Village, Drive to Rongjiang
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: In Rongjiang
Depart from Kaili, you will be transferred to Rongjiang via Leigong Mountain. In the morning and visit Jidao Village, which is a long-skirt Miao village with hundred year history, where you could also see the unique ancient barn over water and experience the quiet life in this distant village. Then we will visit Matang Village famous for batik making, and Dazhai village in the way. Lusheng is the traditional music instrument for Miao people in China. Tourists have a chance to see how a Lusheng (reed-pipe wind instrument) is made in Dazhai village. Continue driving to Rongjiang. Stay overnight at Rongjiang.
Day 6: Rongjiang to Zhaoxing - Transition to Dong Culture
Zengchong Village, Basha Miao Village, Drive to Zhaoxing, Zhaoxing Dong Village
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: In Zhaoxing
From today you will say goodbye to Miao Village, and go into the area with Dong villages. Drive to Zengchong village for visiting the oldest drum tower in Guizhou first. Then continue driving to Zhaoxing via Congjiang, you will have chance to visit Basha Miao Village on the way, and then, upon arrival, take a look around Zhaoxing Dong Village and explore some authentic Dong villages nearby with our experience guide service. Stay overnight at Zhaoxing.
Day 7: Zhaoxing to Sanjiang - Dong Architecture Wonders
Tang An Dong Village, High speed train to Sanjiang, Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge, Drum Tower
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: In Sanjiang
Drive to take a high speed train to Sanjiang Dong Autonumus after a leisurely breakfast, you will have a stop at Tang An Dong Village enroute, where you will find this village is totally a eco-museum. Take a high speed train to Sanjiang, you will then take a visit to Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge and Drum Tower in Sanjiang after arrival. Stay overnight at Sanjiang.
Day 8: Sanjiang to Longsheng - Terraced Landscapes
Drive to Longsheng, Longji Rice Terraces, Ping'an Zhuang Village
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: In Longsheng
Continue your driving to Longsheng in the morning. On arrival, take a view for the famous Longji Rice Terrace and Ping'an Zhuang Village there. Stay overnight at Longji.
Day 9: Longsheng to Guilin - Karst Formations
Drive to Guilin, Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: In Guilin
In the morning, take about 2.5 hours driving to Guilin. Upon arrival, be transferred to visit Reed Flute Cave which is the representative of the karst landform in Guilin and then visit to Elephant Trunk Hill--The symbol of Guilin. Then check in hotel to catch up some rest.
Day 10: Guilin to Yangshuo - Li River Scenery
Li River Cruise to Yangshuo
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Buffet Lunch on Board Accommodation: In Yangshuo
Depart from hotel in the morning, you will be transferred to the Pier for the Li River Cruise (about 4 hours and the lunch will be served on board). Savor the fairy-tale scenery when sail down the meandering river to Yangshuo. Free Time in Yangshuo for you to explore this small but popular county on your own. Optional Impress Liusanjie Show is available tonight.
Day 11: Yangshuo Countryside & Return to Guangzhou
Yangshuo Countryside Tour, Take high speed train to Guangzhou
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: In Guangzhou
Get up early and enjoy a countryside tour in the morning by car or biking with family visit. Be transferred back to Guilin for a high speed train to Guangzhou (duration: 2.5-3 hours).
Day 12: Departure from Guangzhou
Transfer service to airport
