Section 1: Imperial Capitals & Ancient Warriors (Days 1-6)
Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
Airport pick-up & airport-hotel transfer. Welcome to our 21 days China tour! Today, your private guide will meet you outside of the Arrival Hall in Beijing's airport and transfer you to the hotel to check in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city at leisure.
Day 2: Beijing's Imperial Heart
Visit Tian'anmen Square and Forbidden City; enjoy a la carte welcome lunch with Peking Roast Duck; further explore royal culture at Yonghe Temple and Temple of Heaven.
Day 3: Great Wall Adventure
Visit Mutianyu Great Wall by a round-way cable car ride; drive by Bird's Nest; then visit Hutong alleys where you can explore the traditional courtyard house.
Day 4: Beijing to Xi'an by High Speed Train
Visit Summer Palace; take a high speed train to Xi'an and transfer to hotel.
Day 5: Terracotta Warriors & Tang Dynasty Splendor
Visit Terracotta Army; try your hand to make a mini terracotta figure; explore Giant Wild Goose Pagoda; free night to have fun in Great Tang All Day Mall.
Day 6: Xi'an's Ancient Walls to Chengdu's Culinary Delights
Visit City Wall and Great Mosque; taste Xi'an snacks in Muslim Quarter; then take high-speed train to Chengdu and transfer to hotel.
Section 2: Pandas & Minority Cultures (Days 7-11)
Day 7: Chengdu Panda Encounter
Visit Giant Panda Base, Wide and Narrow Alleys, and Jinsha Site Museum; see the Chinese matchmaking corner at People's Park.
Day 8: Chengdu to Lijiang by Flight
Fly to Lijiang and transfer to hotel.
Day 9: Lijiang's Naxi Culture
Visit Baisha Village, a local Naxi family, Baisha Murals, Black Dragon Pool, Square Street of Lijiang Old Town, and Mu Fu Mansion.
Day 10: Lijiang to Dali by Land Transfer
Visit Bai Traditional House in Xizhou; drive to Dali; explore Erhai Lake and Dali Old Town.
Day 11: Dali to Kunming & Stone Forest
Take high-speed train to Kunming and transfer to hotel; visit Stone Forest.
Section 3: Karst Landscapes & Avatar Mountains (Days 12-18)
Day 12: Kunming to Guilin's Limestone Wonders
Take high-speed train to Guilin and transfer to hotel; visit Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill.
Day 13: Li River Cruise to Yangshuo
Take a Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo; explore West Street; transfer to the hotel in Yangshuo.
Day 14: Yangshuo Countryside Immersion
Full day is free for your independent exploration with our suggestions.
Day 15: Drive back to Guilin, High Speed Train to Zhangjiajie
Drive back to Guilin; visit Xianggong Mountain; take high-speed train to Zhangjiajie and transfer to hotel.
Day 16: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
Full day tour in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: Yuanjiajie Scenic Area by Bailong Elevator up, Hallelujah Mountain, Yangjiajie Scenic Area with Natural Great Wall, Tianzi Mountain by cable car down.
Day 17: Grand Canyon & Golden Whip Stream
Morning visit to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon with thrilling Glass Bridge. In the afternoon, hike along Golden Whip Stream in Zhangjiajie Forest Park.
Day 18: Tianmen Mountain to Shanghai
Visit Tianmen Mountain featuring round-trip cableway, Glass Skywalk, and Tianmen Cave (Heaven's Gate); Witness 72 Tujia Stilted Buildings. Fly to Shanghai and transfer to hotel.
Section 4: Modern Metropolis & Classical Gardens (Days 19-21)
Day 19: Shanghai's Urban Tapestry
Visit Shanghai Museum and Yu Garden; cruise on Huangpu River and have a leisurely stroll on the Bund; then explore old cultural block of Tianzifang.
Day 20: Suzhou Gardens & Tongli Water Town
Drive to Suzhou and visit Humble Administrator's Garden, Pingjiang Road, and the water town Tongli; drive back to your hotel in Shanghai.
Day 21: Departure from Shanghai
