Eling Park in Chongqing's Yuzhong District is named for its goose-like shape. The city's earliest private garden belonged to late Qing dynasty tycoon Li Yaoting.

Overlooking the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers, Eling commands panoramic views of downtown and Fuduguan Fort. It's an unbeatable vantage point for sunsets over Chongqing's two rivers, best seen from Zhanjing Tower.

Reach Eling by metro line 1 or buses 118, 403, 411, 413, 416, 421, 462, 466, 476 or 818 to Eling Station. Entry is free.

Open daily 6am-10pm, last entry at 10pm. Take in the scenic splendor of Chongqing's iconic river city from Eling Park's lofty lookouts.
