Day 2: Historical Chengdu - Ancient Sites and Tea House Culture

Begin your cultural exploration at Wuhou Temple, the largest museum dedicated to relics from the Three Kingdoms Period. This serene complex offers a peaceful retreat amidst the urban landscape. Adjacent to the temple, wander through Jinli Ancient Street, where traditional architecture houses shops, snacks, and crafts that showcase Sichuan's rich heritage.
For lunch, experience one of Chengdu's most famous culinary traditions: Hotpot. This communal dining experience features Sichuan's signature mala (numbing and spicy) flavors that have gained international acclaim.

Depart early from your hotel for the approximately one-hour drive (80km) to the Dujiangyan Giant Panda Protection and Research Center.

Complete registration formalities and sign a security contract with the panda volunteer service center. Receive your volunteer overalls and gloves, followed by comprehensive safety training and an introduction to your day's responsibilities.

Return your volunteer gear and bid farewell to the pandas and instructors before departing for Chengdu.
Day 4: Departure from Chengdu - Farewell to Sichuan
