Begin your day early with a visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you'll witness these magnificent creatures during their most active morning feeding hours (around 9:30 AM). Observe approximately 80 giant pandas in beautifully designed habitats that mimic their natural environment. The base also houses other rare species including red pandas and various crane species.
Afternoon Historical Discovery
Visit the Panda Museum and Theater to deepen your understanding of panda conservation efforts. Afterwards, enjoy an authentic Sichuan hotpot lunch before proceeding to the Jinsha Ruins Museum, which showcases artifacts from the ancient Shu civilization dating back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties.

Continue to Kuan Zhai Alley (Wide and Narrow Alley) to explore restored Ming and Qing dynasty architecture while enjoying coffee at a Chinese-style Starbucks.
Day 4: Majestic Buddha & Mountain Transition
Journey to Leshan's Giant Buddha

After breakfast, travel approximately 1.5 hours to Leshan, home to the world's largest stone Buddha statue. We recommend taking a cruise (approximately 30 minutes) for optimal viewing of the magnificent 71-meter tall Leshan Giant Buddha carved into the cliffside, rather than the strenuous hiking alternative.
Transfer to Sacred Mountains
Continue your journey (approximately 1 hour) to the Mount Emei area, checking into your hotel with the evening free to rest and prepare for tomorrow's mountain exploration.
Day 5: Mount Emei's Golden Summit

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Mount Emei, one of China's Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains. Return to Chengdu
