Day 2: Pandas and Traditional Chengdu Culture
Comprehensive Panda Encounter and Authentic Local Experiences
Begin your day with an early morning pickup from your hotel to visit the renowned Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. This world-class conservation facility houses over 100 giant pandas and serves as a crucial research center. Arriving before 9:00 AM provides the optimal opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures during their active morning feeding sessions around 9:30 AM. The beautifully designed pathways offer excellent viewing angles of the pandas in their naturalistic habitats, along with opportunities to see other rare species including red pandas and various crane species.
Following your panda encounter, enjoy an authentic Sichuan hot pot lunch before continuing to People's Park. This urban oasis offers a genuine glimpse into local life, where residents gather for traditional activities such as singing, dancing, and playing mahjong. Experience the city's famous leisurely pace firsthand by relaxing with tea at a traditional tea house.
Your cultural immersion continues with a visit to Wuhou Temple, the largest museum dedicated to the Three Kingdoms period. This serene historical site provides a peaceful retreat within the bustling city. Conclude your day with a stroll through adjacent Jinli Ancient Street, where traditional architecture and local crafts create an atmospheric journey through Sichuan's cultural heritage.
Day 3: Journey to Xiling Snow Mountain
Alpine Adventure and Winter Wonderland Discovery
After checking out from your Chengdu hotel, embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort, renowned as the "Oriental Alps" for its stunning natural beauty. This expansive 7-square-kilometer resort stands as the largest alpine ski destination in southwestern China.
Board the sightseeing cable car for a breathtaking 40-minute ascent to the Sun and Moon Viewing Deck (Riyueping), situated at an elevation of 3,260 meters. Here, you'll find yourself immersed in a spectacular winter landscape, with opportunities on clear days to view distant peaks including Mount Emei and Daxuetang Snow Peak.
Descend to the mountain base where numerous snow activities await. Enjoy various winter entertainment options including snow motorcycles, sleigh rides, and skiing experiences.

Day 4: Mountain Thrills and Thermal Relaxation
Skiing Excitement and Soothing Hot Springs
After breakfast, continue your alpine adventure with additional skiing and snow activities at Xiling Ski Resort. Embrace the winter environment and fully experience the mountain's recreational offerings.
Following your mountain activities, descend to Huashuiwan Hot Spring Town for a therapeutic hot spring experience. The naturally heated mineral waters provide perfect relaxation, soothing muscles after winter sports while offering complete physical rejuvenation.
Your guide and driver will then escort you back to your Chengdu hotel for overnight accommodation.
Day 5: Departure from Chengdu
Farewell to Sichuan
Enjoy a leisurely morning with time for last-minute souvenir shopping or final exploration before your scheduled transfer to Chengdu Airport for your departing flight to your next destination or homeward journey.
