Nestled around Chengde city, embraced by the renowned Bishu Shanzhuang and the Eight Outer Temples, Qingchui Peak National Forest Park unfolds its wonders, covering a vast expanse of 1.59 million acres just 2.5 kilometers from the city center. Celebrated for its unique natural landscapes, the park boasts a stunning Danxia landform, characterized by a thousand rock formations and extraordinary peaks.

Key Attractions:

  1. Pule Temple:

    • A harmonious blend of Han and Tibetan architectural styles, Pule Temple showcases a distinctive structure. The front half exudes Han-style influences, seamlessly merging with Tibetan elements in the rear half. The main building, the Jingtan (scripture hall), serves as a gathering and worship space. The central hall, known as "Xuguang Ge," strikingly resembles Beijing's Temple of Heaven's Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests.

  2. Qingchui Peak National Forest Park:

    • This forest park boasts a myriad of natural wonders, including the awe-inspiring Qingchui Peak, the prominently protruding Toad Stone, the serene Luohan Mountain, and the lofty Monk Crown Peak. Among these, Qingchui Peak stands out for its unique shape, resembling a hammer with a broad top and a slender bottom, suspended between the cliffs and the blue sky.

  3. Anyuan Temple:

    • Modeled after the Gurlzha Temple on the banks of the Ili River in Xinjiang, Anyuan Temple is also known as the Ili Temple. The main building, Pudu Hall, features a multi-eaved roof covered with black glazed tiles. The use of black tiles in temple and royal architecture is exceptionally rare.
