Yunnan's Natural Wonders & Ancient Cultures: Kunming & Lijiang

Journey Through China's Historical and Spiritual Heartlands

Day 1: Arrival in Beijing - Gateway to Ancient Civilization

Your private Beijing Tibet tour begins with arrival at Beijing's international airport, where your personal guide and driver will welcome you. After a comfortable transfer to your centrally-located hotel, you'll have time to settle in and begin absorbing the unique atmosphere of China's capital city. For an authentic dining experience, we recommend Jingxihe Meat Pie restaurant, renowned for its traditional Beijing snacks including their signature Pork Meat Pie served with Millet Porridge and Noodles with Soybean Paste.

Conclude with a traditional rickshaw ride through Beijing's ancient Hutong alleys, including a visit to a local family's courtyard home.

Enjoy round-trip cable car rides to access the wall, where you'll walk along this ancient defensive structure and appreciate the breathtaking mountain vistas.

Day 4: Beijing to Lhasa - Ascending to the Roof of the World

Board a morning flight from Beijing to Lhasa, ascending to 3,650 meters above sea level. Upon arrival, your Tibetan guide will transfer you to your hotel. Explore halls containing precious Buddhist artifacts and discover stupa tombs of early Dalai Lamas.
