This unique hydrological and geological phenomenon links four distinct gorges—Gulao, Xinling, Gulong, and Xinqiao—via a continuous river that flows both above ground and through three remarkable water-carved caves: Yingbin Cave, Baifu Cave, and Gulong Cave.

  • The Four Gorges: Each gorge possesses its own character, from serene, forest-lined waterways to narrow passages flanked by imposing cliffs. The journey through them offers constantly shifting perspectives on the region's lush, subtropical ecosystem and dramatic karst topography.
  • The Three Water Caves: Navigating the underground rivers through these illuminated caves is a highlight. Visitors glide on boats into cavernous chambers adorned with spectacular stalactites, stalagmites, and other calcite formations, all reflected in the clear, still waters, creating a surreal, otherworldly atmosphere.
  • The Cascading Wonders: The canyon is home to an ensemble of twelve picturesque waterfalls. The crowning glory is the Gulong Grand Fall itself, a monumental single-drop waterfall with an impressive height of approximately 128 meters and a width of 70 meters. The Visitor Experience: Exploration Options The park caters to different preferences for exploration, primarily through two structured tours.

  • The Classic "Three Gorges & Two Caves" Drift: This is the signature adventure. Lasting 1-3 hours, it involves a combination of gentle rafting and walking. Participants float on rubber boats through sections of the surface river and the mesmerizing underground river caves, with periods of walking on well-maintained paths to connect the experiences. It provides a comprehensive and immersive way to witness the park's core attractions.

  • The Essence Hiking Tour: For those who prefer to explore at their own pace on foot, this option focuses on the most scenic overground trails. From June 1st to August 31st, the park is generally open from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with last entry at 5:30 PM. From December 1st to February 28th, hours are typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with last entry at 4:30 PM. The late Mr. He Zhenliang, former Chairman of the Chinese Olympic Committee and Vice President of the International Olympic Committee, visited and inscribed his praise, calling it a "Peerless Wonder Under Heaven." Furthermore, Mr. Zhu Xuewen, President of the China Caves Association, acclaimed it as a "World-Class Absolute Scenery."
