Located in the heart of Wulong Valley within the central part of Qianshan, approximately ten kilometers southeast of Anshan City in Liaoning Province, Qianshan Wulong Palace stands as a significant Taoist temple. Founded in the third year of the Qianlong Emperor's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1738) by Daoist priest Peng Fuxing, the temple has undergone numerous renovations and expansions during the Jiajing, Daoguang, Xianfeng eras, and in 1927, gradually taking its present shape.

Architectural Marvels: The temple complex comprises the main hall, front hall, side halls, bell tower, Jade Emperor Pavilion, and Great Immortals Hall. The main hall, featuring three rooms with a dragon carving on the ridge beam, is adorned with a prominent plaque reading "North Pole Profound Heaven." Inside, statues of Zhenwu, the Medicine King, Qiu Zu, and Lingguan deities are enshrined. The front hall houses clay sculptures and painted images of Cihang Daoist, Dragon Girl, and eight other Daoist deities.

Unique Landmarks: A notable attraction is the "Reclining Ox Stone," a massive stone approximately 10 meters long, partially buried underground, resembling an ox resting after a hearty meal. Adjacent to the "ox belly," there is a crescent-shaped well known as the "Crescent Moon Well," providing sweet and untainted water throughout the seasons, earning the title of the finest ancient well in Qianshan. The five-roomed Study, a relatively large building within the temple, is surrounded by a five-meter-high stone wall, resembling a solitary city rising from the ground.

Sacred Sites: Perched atop the mountain peak behind the temple, the Great Immortals Hall and Jade Emperor Pavilion showcase exquisite architecture, nestled amidst the lush greenery and rocky landscapes, resembling celestial abodes suspended in the air. The external landscape, with five peaks winding from the south, west, and north converging abruptly before a solitary peak, creates a breathtaking sight resembling five dragons playing with a pearl.

Visiting Information: The admission ticket for Qianshan includes access to Qianshan Wulong Palace. The temple is open from 08:30 to 17:00 throughout the year.
