Jiaozuo travel guide

Jiaozuo City lies in northwest Henan Province. Historically known as Shanyang, it was a center of early Chinese civilization, as evidenced by the Peiligang, Yangshao, and Longshan cultural sites.

Jiaozuo is the hometown of famous historical cultural figures like Sima Yi, Han Yu, and Li Shangyin. It is also recognized as the birthplace of Tai Chi in China.
